The 2021 Mahindra XUV500 will come with two new engines – 190bhp, 2.0L direct-injection turbo petrol and 185bhp, 2.2L mHawk diesel. Both the engines will be made available with two gearboxes – 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic sourced from Aisin. The engines also will undergo special tuning to perform better in the XUV500.
