Citroen, which recently made its debut in the country with its C5 Aircross, is yet to launch the product in the market. However, even before the launch of the first product, the company has started readying another product, which is a micro-SUV for Indian customers. With spy shots of the small SUV doing the rounds some time ago, we expect the compact car will be the next offering from Citroen in its India portfolio. In this article, we will discuss this Citroen Rs 10 Lakh car.

Exterior

The micro-SUV from Citroen is expected to borrow similar design elements from its elder brother. The front grille housing the Citroen logo, split headlamp setup and contrasting inserts on the bumper & side-skirts are expected to be similar. The rear design is also expected to carry forward the Citroen styling.

Interior

The smaller Citroen is expected to maintain the French styling and premium on the inside as well. A clean and simple dashboard with modern elements is expected to add to the plush cabin on the micro-SUV. A multi-function steering wheel, fully-digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system and stylized vents are expected.

Features

The upcoming micro-SUV is expected to come with multiple modern features in order to compete with the rivals and make its presence felt. Connected car tech, rear parking camera and sensors, automatic climate control, ambient lighting and rear AC vents are some of the expected features.

Platform & Launch

The car is expected to be based on the CMP1 platform that multiple products from the Group PSA use. As of now, the car has only been spotted testing. With no other detail regarding the product and Citroen’s future plans, we are not sure when the French brand is planning to launch the product in the country.

Also, from the spy shots which have surfaced, it can be seen that the upcoming micro-SUV is being tested along with the Tata Altroz. It seems that Citroen is using the inputs from the ALFA platform to benchmark its product.
