MG has offered three products to Indian customers with the Hector, ZS EV and the premium Gloster. MG recently updated the Hector and the ZS EV. MG is bringing another product very soon, and it is the ZS EVs petrol avatar, which will be officially coming as the MG Astor. We have got our hands on some spy shots of the Astor. In this article, we will be discussing the upcoming MG Astor.

The new MG will be very similar in terms of design to the ZS EV. MG is expected to retain most of the elements of the ZS EV. LED projector headlights with LED DRLs, front grille and the rear LED tail-lamps are expected to be the same on the Astor. The design of the headlights could be a bit different. We are however expecting to see a new fog-lamp housing and new alloys on the MG Astor.

The foreign market also sees a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine on the Astor which produces 161bhp and 230Nm of torque. The car comes with options of a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. It will be interesting to see that if this car goes up against the Creta how many engine/gearbox options will it get.
