New Tata Safari Variants Explained
The recently unveiled Tata Safari is the talk of the town. Today we explain to you in detail the available 6 variants of the New Tata Safari below.
There are some elements common to all the variants like the Kryotec 2.0 litre Turbocharged Diesel Engine which produces 167bhp and 350Nm torque. Other elements like the Inline-4-cylinder engine setup, front and rear disc brakes, Independent, Lower Wishbone, McPherson Strut with Coil Spring & Anti Roll Bar suspension setup for the front and Semi-Independent Twist Blade with Panhard Rod & Coil Spring suspension setup for the rear and a 50-litre fuel tank are common among all the variants. Let’s begin now.
XE Trim
The XE Trim gets Tilt & Telescopic Adjust on Steering, Projector Headlamps with Dual Function DRLs with Turn Indicators. On the safety front, Dual Airbags (Driver & Co-Driver), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Control, Traction Control, Roll Over Mitigation, Corner Stability Control, Brake Disc Wiping, ABS with EBD along with All Disc Brakes are provided. For convenience, features like Rear Parking Sensors, 2nd Row Seats with 60:40 Split, Reclining 2nd Row Seats, 3rd Row AC & AC Vents, 3rd Row Seats with 50:50 Split, Smart Charger in 2nd & 3rd Row and Boss Mode are available from the basic trim. Roof rails are also provided with allowed weight loading for models without a sunroof.

XM/XMA Trim
Over the XE trim, the XM/XMA trim starts getting Multi Drive Modes 2.0 (Eco, City & Sport), Floating Island 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, 6 Speakers (4 Speakers + 2 Tweeters), steering mounted controls, Follow Me Home headlamps, front fog lamps, Rear Parking Sensor with display, Rear wiper washer, Remote Central Locking, height-adjustable driver seat and electrically adjustable outer mirrors.
XT Trim
Soft-touch dashboard with anti-reflective ‘Nappa’ grain top layer makes its appearance here. 8 speakers (4 Speakers+ 4 Tweeters), Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) with HVAC, Dual Function LED DRLs with Turn Indicators, Rain Sensing Wipers, Automatic Headlamps, Electrically Foldable Outer Mirrors, Rear Armrest with Cup Holders, Height Adjustable Driver Seat with Lumbar Support, Push Button Start (PEPS), Mood Lighting, R18 Alloy Wheels, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Auto-Dimming IRVM, iRA Connected Car Technology, Reverse Parking Camera, Cruise Control, Andriod AutoTM & Apple Car PlayTM connectivity are the added features which are not provided in the lower trims.
XT+ Trim
The XT+ Trim sports all features of XT Trim. The added benefit of this trim is the panoramic sunroof for a beautiful view of the blue sky.
XZ/XZA
Xenon HID Projector Headlamps, Front Fog Lamps with Cornering Function, Signature Oyster White Interior Color Theme, Premium Benecke Kaliko Signature Oyster White Leather Seat Upholstery & Door Pad Inserts, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel & Gear Shift Knob, Terrain Response Modes (Normal, Rough & Wet), Floating Island 8.8-inch Touchscreen Infotainment, 9 JBL Speakers (4 Speakers + 4 Tweeters & Subwoofer) with Amplifier, Acoustics tuned by JBL, Shark Fin Antenna, Instrument Cluster with 7″ Colour TFT Display, 6 Airbags (Driver, Co-Driver, side and Curtain), Hill Descent Control, ISOFIX, 6 Way Powered Driver Seat, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Hold, R18 Machined Alloys are the features which make their way in this trim.
XZ+/XZA+
Over the XZ/XZA trim, this trim offers a panoramic sunroof and captain seat option for the middle row.
