Hyundai is also ready to launch its upcoming cars like AX1(MicroSUV), and Hyundai Creta Seven Seater in India. 1) Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo costs Rs. 9.09 lakh and Rs. 9.15 lakh(On-road Mumbai). The second variant of the car comes with the dual-tone colour option with additional cost. The whole car lineup has 19 variants to choose from with 3 engine options and both manual and automatic transmission. The 998cc turbo petrol engine produces 99bhp/6000rpm and 172Nm/1500-4000rpm. ARAI claimed mileage figure of 20.7 is also a bonus feature of this car.
The Hyundai Aura, compact sedan which is based on the Grand i10 Nios also comes with a turbo petrol engine option. The turbo petrol variant of the Hyundai Aura costs Rs. 10.09 lakh (On-road Mumbai).
2) Hyundai i20 Turbo
Hyundai i20 Turbo costs between Rs. 10.25 lakh and Rs.13.35 lakh (On-road Mumbai). You get much more variants to choose from with the turbo engine in the Hyundai i20. The 1.0L Turbo GDi petrol engine produces 118bhp/6000rpm and 172Nm/1500-4000rpm. Hyundai has only increased the power figure for this car with the same engine. Both iMT and automatic transmission option is present with the turbo petrol car. Newly launched Tata Altroz turbo, Volkswagen Polo are some of its main competitors. 3) Hyundai Venue Turbo
The compact SUV segment has remained on the boom for quite some time. The Hyundai Venue turbo costs between Rs. 10.07 lakh and Rs. 13.74 lakh. The 998cc Turbo petrol engine produces the similar 118bhp/6000rpm and 172Nm/1500-4000rpm. Both manual and automatic transmission option is present with the car. Tata Nexon is the other car in its segment which comes with a turbocharged petrol engine along with 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.
4) Hyundai Creta Turbo
Hyundai Creta has become the market leader in the mid-size SUV segment and is the best-selling car for Hyundai. Hyundai Creta Turbo costs Rs. 19.47 lakh and Rs. 20.68 lakh. Only a 7-speed DCT transmission option is available with the car. Both the variants get dual-tone colour option without any additional cost. Kia Seltos also comes with the same engine and performance.
5) Hyundai Verna
Hyundai Verna is also a popular sedan in India. Priced at Rs. 16.55 lakh (On-road Mumbai) the Hyundai Verna comes with the same 998cc turbo petrol engine used in the Nios and i20. No manual transmission is available with the turbo variant of the car, which can be a slight downside for enthusiasts. The 7-speed DCT transmission available with the car does its job pretty well. Skoda Rapid, though costs much less still comes with a punchy turbo petrol engine with manual transmission.
