Both the cars come with the same turbo petrol engine. The 998cc petrol engine produces 118.36bhp/6000rpm and 171.62Nm/1500-4000rpm. With the Hyundai i20 Turbo you also have iMT option while both the cars have 7-speed DCT transmission in common. Being a smaller car, the turbo petrol engine on the Hyundai i20 feels more peppy and punchy. The engines provide you with enough juice to cruise comfortably in the cities as well as the highways. The Hyundai Verna Turbo comes with the top variant, so you also get all the bells and whistles with the car.

Hyundai Verna looks much more premium compared to the other cars in the competition. The alloy wheel design is also pretty impressive. White lights and projector fog lamps help the car stand out. The light spread could have been better for night-time driving. 165mm of unladen ground clearance is also pretty good. The paint quality is decent however the door thud noise could have been better.
