Soon we will be seeing the Citroen C5 AirCross hit Indian roads. The French manufacturer has big plans for India where it not only creates a good domestic base for itself but also leverages India for its South Asian expansion plans. So that means – more products and exports. But what could be the next product apart from the C5 Aircross? The next big volumes segment after the mid-size SUV is the sub-four meter range. There is no point of speculation design or any other attributes. All we can say is that the car could be teased in concept form – later this year. Recently, online photos have emerged of the Peugeot 208 being tested. This could be the 1.2-litre petrol engine that is being planned for this car. The platform on this car will be the CMP1 platform that many Group PSA cars use. Apart from the C5 AirCross, the brand has said not other offerings will feature a diesel engine. In terms of safety, electronics and other specs, Citroen will be benchmarking the best.

Apart from this, we will see the car get many features plus some segment firsts that we will have to wait and speculate.
