The SUV segment has been booming and the Maruti Vitra Brezza is one of the key products that Maruti has in that segment. The car has received a facelift last year and we are expecting Maruti to give this vehicle a Diesel engine in 2021. With that said they will have to update a few thing on the car in 2022. As the market progress the Vitara Brezza being the one of the oldest in the sement will have to make some considerable changes. In this article we will tell you about those areas where we think Maruti has the space to change.

Interior Overhaul

2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza

The only place where the Vitara Brezza right now lack is the interior design. It is very basic and Maruti could change it and add some of its classic touches that was see on the Swift – Chrome and Wood. A complete digital instrument cluster would increase costs but increasing the size of the screen that is existing in the middle would be expected.

The seating ergonomics might be changed a bit with 2 step recline for the rear seat. Light colour interiors might work in the favor of the car appearing to be more spacious. Other than that electric adjust and ventilated seats would have been a good thing to have on a car but we expect Maruti to not add them in wake of the price rise.

Feature Add-on

Best Diesel Automatic SUV

Rear AC vents are a biggest let down currently with the car. Along with that a Sunroof will also be added but there is no conformation whether it will be a production feature or an optional extra. Some provisions for charging might be provided at the rear for charging.

A cooled glove box might be something that would be provided on the Brezza 2022. A better improved connected car tech might be seen on this Maruti Brezza 2022 as the current does not offer features like remote start and other cool party tricks.

Diesel Engine

Maruti Brezza

The Diesel engine is the highlight for this year but we expect a better tune diesel engine for 2022. This might be slightly tuned better depending on the customer feedback. This diesel engine is expected to be a 1.5 litre 4-cylinder engine. Now we are hoping it to arrive both in manual and automatic transmission but there is no confirmation on it from Maruti.
