2021 Tata Safari new features – Different than Harrier?
The upcoming Tata Safari is going to be based on the Harrier. It will share the same OMEGA-arc platform and will be a seven seater. This is how we see the car being different from the outside. 2021 Tata Safari Electronic steering
This will be a welcome addition on this platform. The Harrier is right now available with hydraulic steering that has put off many from using this car as a daily since it feels heavy to drive. So the addition of electronic steering on the Safari will be a boon. Maneuvering this car in traffic or while parking will be easy.
Electronic parking brake
This will be a great addition to the 2021 Tata Safari new features list. It will be available with the top trims and will see away with the aircraft inspired handbrake in favor of a more compact unit that will be easier to use and will free up some space on the center console.

2021 Tata Safari new features – Captain seats
The Safari will be a seven seater but for some the third row will only be utilized for space and they will like to be chauffeur driven. That means the second row will be the very important. The car will get captain seats that will make the experience and drive more comfortable for users that like to be driven around. The second row will get rear AC vents, charging points and dark sun blinds.
Rear Disc Brakes
The safety, drivability and overall dynamics of this 7 seater car will improve with the addition of rear disc brakes. The Safari will be much safer and tractable. This will be needed as the car is going to be bigger and heavier than the Harrier
18-inch wheels
While the 17-inch tyres on the Harrier are okay, the Safari will get new, more premium and better alloy wheels. They will bigger too at 18-inchs. This will aid the car in it’s overall dimensions and will make the car look even more butch in its stance.
