Bookings for the ‘hot hatch’ will start from tomorrow, while Tata Motors will reveal prices and commence deliveries from 22 January. If you want an automatic transmission, Hyundai i20 turbo is your only option. However if you want a genuine stick shifter turbo car then i20 fails miserably with the iMT. The 5-speed manual transmission is a safe option by Tata. The company is also expected to launch some form of automatic transmission with the car in the future. We expect it to be a DCT/DSG transmission.
