Jeep’s first Made-In-India SUV will be launched by the end of 2016 and it will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The Ranjangaon plant is undergoing expansion and Fiat has already commenced the construction work.

The new dual-clutch transmission will add on to the Fiat’s portfolio and we can expect this to even power other Fiat and Jeep products that will be sold in India. The Fiat brand isn’t using DCT on any of its Indian products as even the 595 has an AMT (automated manual transmission).
