2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza Design and Platform
The new Brezza will be based on the companies Hearteck platform and will roughly carry forward the same boxy design language. There will be no major changes in the dimensions of the car. The car will also getting more in terms of variants and will get more competitive for the currently expanding segment of compact SUVs. We will see new headlights, grille, bumper design, alloy wheels, sleeker taillights and revised door panels. The car’s SUV design will be made more aggressive too. We can see a different hood and rear tailgate.
In the overall development phase of this car, the codename for this vehicle is YKA. There could also be a possibility of Toyota being involved in this development phase and finally we can see the Urban Cruiser and the Brezza differ in terms of style, features and looks to some extent.
Overall safety also for the car will be upped too and we could see six airbags being finally offered with other new safety features.
Maruti Vitara Brezza Features
This is one place where the Brezza is lacking behind considerably. The car is expected to get a bigger touchscreen, wireless charging, air purifier, sunroof, digital instrument cluster, fast charging and better connected car technology.

2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza Engine
The engine option on this car is going to continue to be a 1.5-litre petrol engine that will be available with a manual and automatic transmission. Maruti currently does not offer a diesel in there portfolio, but we might see them if demand meets costs – offer a diesel on the 2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza. Maruti could also become the second manufacturer after Hyundai to offer iMT units in their cars.
2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza Launch Price and Competition
The Brezza is going to come in the third quarter of this year and will be approx. Rs 35,000 to Rs 50,000 more expensive than before. The competition first will be the Hyundai Venue that has usurped its segment sales crown.
