2021 Renault Kiger Spy Shots

Renault is soon going to launch as compact SUV which will be the called the Kiger. We have come across the Renault Kiger Spy Shots and in this article we are going to take a look at the expectations that we have with SUV.

Spy shots

The spy shots that we have are from the rear. The car has a small rear glass area and the wiper mounted high confirms that.

There is a shark fin antenna visible on the roof of the vehicle. This along with the sloping end of the roof give the car some sporty feel.

The shoulder line of the car is a bit wide and  that make the car look visually bulky. But this might be done to significantly hide the tapering headroom. In the picture above the lights of the vehicle are visible and the might be resemble the design seen on the Kwid. Although no proper picture of the lights has been taken.

If you want to read in depth about the the interesting features of the Renault Kiger head to our article pinned below.

Launch

Launch

The launch of the 2021 Renault Kiger is expected by mid. The prices are expected to be in the same range as the Nissan Magnite. Essentially both these SUVs are same products and they should be priced similarly. It all depends on the features that are offered by Renault and the quality of the interiors. The Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger wont be simple rebadged cars. They Kiger will be based on this but the design elements such as the headlight unit and the front bumper and other elements will be different.

What could be same are powertrains. Although the Renault Kiger Spy Shots do not tell us anything about the engine we are expecting a 1.0 litre engine in 2 configurations. There will be a 3 cylinder with turbo charging. The other one will be naturally aspirated and a 4 cylinder engine. There will be an AMT gearbox as it is demanded in this segment.
