10 cars coming under Rs 10 lakhs in 2021
As 2020 draws to an end we look at what the next year has in offer. From SUVs to hatchbacks there are many cars coming soon. Some are all-new cars making a entry into the segment, others are cars which will be facelifts. So let’s take a look at which cars under Rs 10 lakhs should you be keeping an eye on for.
Maruti XL5
The Maruti XL5 is the next NEXA product in line for Maruti’s premium outlet. The car is going to be a more premium version of the Maruti WagonR and will get a different fascia and features. The XL5 will get the same engine and gearbox options including the AMT gearbox as the XL5.
Tata HBX
The micr0-SUV entrant by Tata. The HBX has already been shown as a concept and the car has been spotted multiple times now. The HBX is also touted to be officially named the Hornbill. The car will most likely get only one engine option – the 1.2-litre turbo petrol from Tata. It will compete with the Mahindra KUV100 and the upcoming Hyundai AX. Maruti Celerio
The car that has been heavily anticipated from Maruti in 2021 has to be the all new Celerio. Maruti will be getting us the all new Celerio hatchback soon that will be based on the companies new Heartect platform. It will get a big design overhaul and also the new Maruti 1.2-litre engine. Renault Kiger
The Renault Kiger is one car out of the 10 cars coming under Rs 10 lakhs in 2021 that is an all new-car. The Kiger will be based on the CMFA architecture as the Triber in India. Hyundai AX
The AX is going to be another micro-SUV coming soon. It will most likely be here in the second half of 2021. The car is expected to come only with a petrol engine and compete with the Tata HBX, but depending on size we could see the car competing with the S-Presso. Maruti Swift facelift
The Maruti Swift facelift is now due to come anytime. The Maruti Dzire has already been updated, so we expect the Swift to also get one in 2021. We expect the car to get a new grille, better headlamps, revised bumpers and also a new engine. The new 1.2-litre DualJet engine will be seen on the Swift. TUV300 facelift
Mahindra’s TUV300 is the sub-four meter SUV that appeals to those who have loved the stance and design of cars like the Scorpio. For else there is the XUV300. The TUV300 is supposed to come with a new BS6 petrol and diesel engine and get some design enhancements plus features. We expect this car to come as soon as February 2021. New Maruti Alto
One of the best selling cars in the country is long due for a update. The Maruti Alto is going to be changed soon with a generation update and get a lot more. Tata Tigor Turbo Petrol
