This bike was a take on the classic bike craze in India. Although Honda made a bike which is for the masses it is not put on showcase in the general Honda Showroom. The Honda H’ness CB350 makes for a good subsitute for the RE Classic but the pricing and the Honda Image makes it a difficult deal. Also RE introduced a killer bike in the same price range which fixed almost most of the problems with the Classic 350. Know more about that ahead.

Honda Hornet

Honda had went on a spree after the lockdown launching the CB350 as well as the Honda Hornet 2.0. Although the Hornet technically got an update bit the bike that was introuced was completely a new bike. It got USD front suspension which was the talking point here as well as the engine was upgraded to a 180cc.

The bike has good low end toruqe and the engine feels very refined. This bike is a good premium commuter but it does not do more than that. The USD forks are not that stifly sprung and the front end of the bike is very light. There is an adventure bike thta might come on the same platfrom, know more about it below.

Honda Hornet Adventure Under Consideration

The Hornet 2.0 was also launched in Repsol edition which is the steal and one should go for it as it might fetch better resale in the future.

KTM Adventure 250

KTM 250 Adventure

Although the KTM Adventure 390 was also launched this year, the 250  has been included in this 2020 bike launches list as it is the more relevent topic out here. It is an affordable adventure bike from KTM. Also the lack of electronics has kept it pretty raw and makes for a good offroad machine. The KTM 250 Adventure also takes a knock on Himalayan’s door but the price is where it holds back. The 50,000 gap between prices is justifiable but that just puts it closer to the 390.

Take a look at the comparison below to find out more about these bikes.

Hero Xtreme 160 is a product that shaken the competition with its pricing and offering. It comes at an ex-showroom price of almost 1.06 lakhs. The engine is designed well for the 160cc but still has the Hero underpowered feel to it. But the bike is the lightest in the class and also looks stylish and modern.

Husqvarana 250

Husqvarna Engine

KTM had announced the Husqvarna twins at the start of year 2020 before the whole Covid-19 set in. These bikes did not get the approriate amount of attention and were masked by the other things that were happneing due to the lockdown. One is a cafe racer and the other one is a pseudo scrambler. The engine is the same as that of the KTM 250 and has the same power figure. Only advantage here is the lack of weight on the frame of the bike.

This make the bike fun to ride. Also the premium colours that are avaialable on the Husqvarana 250 make it look a class apart from KTM. Only the fit finish is still flimsy and can be improved for the price at which it is offered. Also recently KTM has introduced the 125 Duke in a new avatar and that might also translate to a new Husqvarana 125. Click below to know more.
