Tata HBX is a car that was shown as a concept in 2020 at the Auto Expo. We are expecting the car to launch in 2021. Here are some of the photos of the new Tata HBX alloy wheel design that could be seen on the HBX test mule.

Tata had claimed that the HBX is a 90% ready production model. Now the wheels on the car at Auto Expo were clearly not expected to come to the production and these new alloys that we seen on the test mules might be the last piece of the puzzle.

Other things that we notice on the car are the split set of lights and the raised roof. The split light setup is expected to be like that of the Tata Harrier. The raised roof might be a result of the tall and function roof rails that might be offered on this car.

Also, you can see the Tri-arrow design on the lower grill of the front bumper. This tri arrow design is also seen on the new Nexon.

Other Details About HBX

Tata HBX SPYSHOTs Tata HBX Alloy

Apart from the new discovery of the Tata HBX Alloy wheels on the Test mule we also know that the Tata HBX will sit below the Tata Nexon. It will be a micro-SUV and will compete with the likes of the Maruti Ignis and Mahindra KUV100. Both these cars are not really interesting products and that is what the HBX is will fill in. Also, the name of the vehicle would not be HBX.

The HBX might also take the form of an EV but that is a very later stage development after the car has settled in the market for a year or so.  The Tata HBX might have the same engine as the Tata Tiago or it might get a the Turbo-petrol that has been testing on the Altroz.
