1) Yamaha R15

The Yamaha MT 15 is a more modern-looking bike from the manufacturer. The on-road Mumbai price of the Yamaha MT 15 is Rs.1.69 lakh. It also comes with similar engine and performance figures like the Yamaha R15. The same 6-speed manual transmission is present here. This is the cheaper yet different looking alternative to the Yamaha YZF R15.

3) KTM 200 Duke

The KTM 200 Duke is also a popular selling bike in the 200cc segment. The KTM 200 Duke costs Rs.1.76 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai. The KTM 200 Duke comes with a 199.5cc Liquid-cooled engine which produces 25.83PS/10,000rpm and 19.5Nm/8000rpm. Like the other bikes in this segment, it comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.

4) KTM 125 Duke

The KTM 125 Duke is the younger brother of the 200 Duke. The ex-showroom price of the KTM 125 Duke is Rs.1.41 lakh. It is the only 125 cc bike in India to get a 6th gear. The KTM 125 Duke comes with a 124.7cc engine which produces 14.5PS/9250rpm and 12Nm/8000rpm.

5) Bajaj Pulsar 200NS

We cannot complete this list without including an Indian made bike. The new Bajaj Pulsar 200NS costs Rs.1.30 lakh and comes with a 6-speed transmission.  It comes with a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine like the KTM which produces 24.5PS/9750rpm and 18.5Nm/8000rpm. Bajaj bikes are also known for their reliability and affordable price in India.
