Toyota Innova – all specifications revealed

The Toyota Innova’s brochure has been leaked and a lot of the details of this new MUV are revealed. The Japanese automaker will be unveiling the new-generation Innova on 23rd November and its Indian debut will be made at the 2016 Auto Expo. The brochure that has been leaked reveals all the details on the Innova, like its engine specifications, body dimensions and even the features it is offered with.

The new Innova is a lot more feature loaded than the currently sold Innova and this makes the MUV a lot more premium and of course it will also have a higher price tag as well. These images were shared by IAB.

The new Innova is longer and wider than the currently sold one as this is 4735mm long, 1830mm and its height is 1795mm. The wheelbase remains the same at 2750mm. The new Innova has a 2.4-litre diesel engine that churns 147bhp of power and comes with a six-speed manual and automatic transmission options. The 102bhp 2.5-litre engine with five-speed manual transmission on the currently sold Innova won’t be powering the new Innova.

This new engine has a bump of 45bhp and then it will be a lot more fuel-efficient also.

The new Innova comes with the following range of features on the new Innova. These are offered for the Indonesian car market:

• Leather upholstery
• Seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system
• Multi-Information display
• Multi- LED ambient lighting
• Cooled glovebox
• Higher trim variants get an eight-inch touchscreen system with HDMI and in-car WiFi system
• Dual tone interiors
• Dual airbags
• ABS
• Hill-assist with stability program

The Innova will be unveiled in India at the 2016 Auto expo and will be launched by mid-2016. This will be called as the new Innova and the current Innova will be getting a cosmetic upgrade and the brand will be using it to be called as the Innova Cross. The price of the Innova will be INR 20-24 lakhs (on-road).
