2016 Toyota Innova – What to expect ?

The 2016 Toyota Innova will be making its debut in Indonesia on 23rd November. We get you all the details of what to expect from this new-generation of the best selling MPV in India.

The new Innova looks very different from the current one and it gets a large grille with chrome, swept-back LED headlamps, sculpted hood, and inverted L-shaped taillamps. It also will be more premium looking that the existing Innova.

The 2016 Toyota Innova dimensions are as below:

Length: 4,735mm

Width: 1,830mm

Height: 1,795mm

Wheelbase: 2,750mm.

The Innova comes with two engine options.

Petrol:

2.0-litre, 16-valve, DOHC ,Dual VVT-i

Power – 137bhp power at 5,600 rpm

Torque – 183Nm at 4,700 rpm.

Diesel:

2.4-litre GD with VNT Intercooler

Power – 147 bhp at 3,400 rpm and

Torque – 360Nm  (AT)

Torque – 342 Nm (MT )

Two transmission options are available in both engines:

Six-speed automatic

Five-speed manual

Available in three variants:

G, V and Q.

The 2016 Innova has an all-new dashboard which makes it look more premium. Feature list is as below:
