SUV trend might be picking up in India now but if you look at the second-hand market you could actually get good 7-seater at a decent price. Going for a second hand SUV becomes pocket friendly to own a vehicle with good road presence as well as get you an ‘Above All’ feeling. Here are 5 Second Hand SUVs which you could consider.

Toyota Qualis

The Toyota Qualis can be considered as the Innova of the past. Although the  Innova is considered an MPV the square looks of the Qualis made it look like a very premium SUV. The incredibly reliable engine of the Qualis proves that it is actually difficult to kill a Toyota. Also if the heart of the vehicle is in good shape then putting your money on a 15-year-old car might not be that of a risk.

Ford Endeavour

The Ford Endeavour Hurrican was a very butch looking full size SUV. This is a rare pick and finding a good deal on this car is difficult. The engine on this car is a gas guzzler but if you get the diesel then you might get some mileage out if it. Also the Ford Endeavour makes for a very good project car if you want to put on lift kits and paint it in all matte black.

The previous generation of the Mitsubishi Pajero SFX makes for a good second hand buy. Just like the Endeavour this car too used to look gangster. It came in very fancy colours like red-white and yellow-grey. One could get a good deal on the Mitsubishi Pajero SFX at about Rs 6 lakhs or even less. The only risk with Mitsubishi is after sales service as the touch point in our country are not adequate.

Tata Safari Dicor is a car that has become rare after the current generation Safari was discontined under BS6. Owning this car in second hand now might just make it a classic buy. The engine on this could be a 2.2 litre Dicor engine which came in the 4×2 iteration. A good deal on the Safari Dicor might be in the range of Rs 3 to 5 lakhs.
