Although the international market Renault vehicles do have quality, the Kangoo that might come to India might have the same quality as that of the Renault Triber. It might get 15-inch steel wheels and rear mud flaps paired with dual sliding doors and electrically adjustable door mirrors.

The 2021 Renault Kangoo looks like the Renault Triber. Now the Triber is based on the CMF-A platform. The CMF-C platform of the Kangoo is different but we could see Renault accommodating the Kangoo for India on the CMF-A platform.

Premium features in the higher-spec variants include a rearview camera, automatic dusk-sensing headlights and rain-sensing windscreen wipers and fog lights. It is a premium MPV in the international market and when launched in India may compete with MPVs like Mahindra Marazzo and Maruti Ertiga.

Interior and Technology

The low-spec variants of the Renault Kangoo do not come with an infotainment system. Aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system could be fitted in the slot which is kept empty. There are various options available to choose from in the Renault Kangoo.

Safety and Performance

There are plenty of optional features and accessories available on the Renault Kangoo, but there’s one feature that remains consistent across the range in the international market – Safety. Every Renault Kangoo is equipped with driver and passenger airbags, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, anti-lock brakes with emergency brake assist, electronic stability control, cruise control with speed limiter and hill start assist. For keeping the costs low, Renault may have to sacrifice a lot of features to remain competitive.

The Renault Kangoo comes with petrol, diesel and electric engine. For India, only the petrol variant of the van may be launched. The Renault Kangoo Compact comes with an economical and powerful 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine which provides decent performance as well as efficiency. A 1.5L Diesel engine is also available. A full-electric version of the van available in the international market may be launched later in India.
