Renault Kiger Production-Ready Spyshots

We have come across the spy shots of the Renault Kiger which seems like a production-ready model. Although most of the car is camouflaged there are somethings that can be speculated about this SUV. Also with the Nissan Magnite being revied a lot about the Renault Kiger can be already speculated with eas. Renault Kiger Production Ready model resembles a lot with other Renault cars and here is what we think of it.

SpyShots

The spyshot of the Renault Kiger Production Ready are courtesy of @sivasenthur, our Instagram follower. These spyshots are from the rear and they do give us an idea of how the car will look in real life.

It seems to have LED tail lamps like the ones seen on the Magnite. The tyre size seems a bit small for the SUV but this SUV too, like the Magnite will cut corners to keep the price low. One very noticeable thing on this car is the sloping roofline which gives its a coupe sort of roof. Also, the roof rails look high and we expect them to be functional on the production-ready model.

In the second photo, there are 2 test mules and this hints towards 2 engine options that might come on the Renaut Kiger production ready model. We expect a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine and 1.0-litre turbo petrol to be offered on this SUV. Also, there will be a CVT on offer as an Automatic gearbox. If Renault wants they could also introduce the AMT that they offer on the Triber.

Speaking of the other cars from Renault the Renault Triber 7 seater might share some of the interior fitments with the Renault Kiger. The exterior however won’t be shared with it as this will be a much better-finished car from the outside. Upcoming SUV in India

We expect the Renault Kiger to be the upcoming SUV in India. This would be probably the next most talked about car from Renault in the coming times. Now the launch is expected to take place before the year-end but if there is a 2nd wave of lockdown then Renault might push the launch further to avoid any losses through Covid-19 again. Lasly we would like to add that if the launch is delayed then the car would make the Nissan Magnite look old and drag people’s attention towards it.
