China Gets Facelifted Jeep Compass!

The Jeep compass facelift had been unveiled long time back in Europe and now it has also been unveiled for China. The ongoing Guangzhou International Motor Show has showcased the new facelifted Jeep compass. The car has been spotted in India a couple of time on test and we expect this same facelift design to come to India.

Jeep Facelift

Major changes include a tweaked headlight with daytime running lights, 7-slat chrome grill with a new honeycomb mesh like inserts. The new front bumper and the larger air dam is flanked by fog lamps. There have been no major changes to the body of the SUV and the rear too more or less remains the same.

LED taillights and skid plates at the back and roof rails are all new for the facelifted Jeep compass.

TrailHawk Variant

Changes on the standard variant of the Jeep Compass have also been accentuate on the TrailHawk variant. It gets new bumper, alloy wheels, black and red decals and a completely blacked out grille. Also the addition of red tow hook and model specific badge add to the custom look of the vehicle.

Interiors

Interiors of the facelifted Jeep compass have also been revised. There a UConnect 5 infotainment system which also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. This system is flanked by double stitched leather inserts and brushed aluminium-esque.

Some of the changes on the car a but controversial like the slimmer AC vents, Air Con controls under the screen and the new steering wheel. Also now the car gets panoramic sunroof which is a great addition.

India Launch

The launch of the Jeep Compass facelift in India is expected next year. The exact month is not announced but the testing of the car suggest that it will be available in a few months. Engine options are not confirm but we expect a smaller engine too at a lower price.
