Recent the shocking results of the Global NCAP test of the Maruti Spresso has shown how unsafe the micro-SUV is. Taking opportunity of this situation Tata released a very sarcastic tweet saying ‘We don’t break that Easy’. Here is why tata has the courage to say this.

Tata Global NCAP results

Tata has achieved the amazing results for their current line up of cars. The Tata Tiago which is a sort of competition to the Spresso gets around 4 stars under the GNCAP test. Other cars like the Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz both have got 5 stars in their entry-level variants.

Tata Nexon

It not like Tata has always been on the top of safety. The discontinued cars like the Zest did not do well like the Spresso in the safety test but currently, their lineup is strong in terms of safety.

Take a look at the tweet and get an idea of how subtly Tata has mentions the Spresso with the and added a sarcastic caption of ‘we don’t break that easy’

This is in reference to the new Tiago which gets 4-star safety rating which is also exceptional. Even the Hyundai i10 Grand Nios did not gain that amount of safety within the recent crash test ratings.

Reason Poor Safety

tata tigor amt .

The reason why safety is not seen on cars from the highest-selling manufacturer in Indian is that as Indian we do not prioritize safety over price. Offering strong and rigid cars does require good materials and it does have to have the kind of strength to withstand a crash.

If as customers we decide to prioritize safety and start buying safer cars then the manufacturers will have to change their approach. This will not happen overnight but it surely will save your children’s life in future.
