Toyota Innova Facelift is an awaited Toyota Product for the Indian Market. It is known that not a lot will change with this facelift but still it is one of the high selling product for the company. Also there is no other MPV that comes close in this price range to break the sales of Innova. Here are a few things to know about the Innova Facelift.

New Design

Innova facelift was revealed in Indonesia. This same design will be brought to the Indian Market. The main changes will come to the grill. It will have a thicker chrome surround for the main black slated grill. All the slats will be black instead of 2 chrome as on the current model. The headlamps will also get chrome extensions that will merge into the grill.

The foglamps will have a different shape and there will also be a faux skid plate. The MPV also get new diamond-cut alloy wheels which will only be for the top trims. The rear of the Innova Facelift will remain the same with only the change of chrome replacing the black that is seen on the Indonesian version.

Bookings open

Although there is time for the MPV to be launched in India, the bookings have been unofficially started. Toyota will soon announce the unveil and launch of the vehicle which will further strengthen the booking news.

Interior Changes

The interiors of the Innova facelift will get an all-black theme. The dashboard will be dual-tone and the premium feel will be retained. The MPV will come with 2 layouts of 7 seats and 6 seats.

The Facelift will not have any change in the engine options. Toyota will continue giving the Innova 2.7 litre petrol engine and the 2.4-litre diesel engine. The economy option will be provided with a CNG petrol variant. The diesel engine will make 150 bhp of power and 360 Nm of torque. The petrol will be much more powerful at 166 bhp and 245 Nm. This performance will cost in terms of mileage.

The engine will come with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission option.

Competition

Innova facelift

Its been long that the Innova has been the king of the MPV segment in India. It has no direct rival in terms of price.
