Kia entered the Indian car market last year with the Seltos and took the country by storm. It was successful in giving tough competition to the market leader Hyundai Creta and in many cases was able to beat the overall sales numbers before the new-gen. Creta. Known for its aggressive styling, premium features and great performance, the Kia Seltos is a perfect choice in the mid-size SUV segment.  Find out below if the Kia Seltos HTK+ is the most value for money variant available.

Exterior Styling: HTK+

Seltos Red HTK+

The Kia Seltos HTK+ is available with three configurations, petrol/manual and diesel/manual/automatic. The Kia Seltos HTK+ variant comes with similar styling in the form of tiger-nose grille upfront with silver finish, projector headlamps with turn indicators on ORVMs.

Seltos Red Alloy wheels

Coming to the side of the SUV, you get 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels on the car which looks great on the SUV. The floating roof rails, shark fin antenna and rear wipers on this variant also add to the sportiness to the overall look of the car. You also get Reverse Parking Camera at the rear of the vehicle.

You get 400+ litres of boot space in this SUV which is a great standalone feature. There is no 60:40 split present in this variant. You also get a full-size spare wheel in the boot of the car, which makes it quite ideal for use. Parcel tray feature is also available in this variant.

Interior Styling: HTK+

The Diesel/Automatic Kia Seltos HTK+ comes with Remote Start/Stop functionality. The steering wheel here is not flat bottom but quite good overall. It comes with media controls on one side and cruise control/instrument panel control on the other side. You also get only tilt steering wheeling adjustability.

The main highlight of the interior is the 8-inch touchscreen in the interiors of the SUV.  This touchscreen layout looks quite familiar to Hyundai cars like the Nios i10. You get Android Auto/Apple Car Play with Ambient lighting and Bluetooth connectivity. You get dynamic rearview camera with this variant which looks quite good from the inside.  The instrument cluster here comes with Analog tachometer and speedometer with a small digital MID screen in the middle.

Storage spaces are quite adequate throughout the interiors of the SUV. You also get 3 USB ports with different functionality. The centre armrest in the front is not adjustable but does come with storage space underneath. The touch and feel of materials is quite good with normal plastic bits here and there.

The HTK Plus also comes with only manual AC feature and misses out on automatic climate control, something which was quite necessary.  The fabric seats with faux leather is quite comfortable. You get 4 speakers and 2 tweeters with the SUV to take care of your entertainment needs. You also get sunglass holder in the SUV. The rear seats are quite comfortable with fixed headrests which are a letdown.  You also get rear AC vents with charging sockets.
