Royal Enfield Meteor Price Announced!

The most hyped Royal Enfield bike has been launched. The Royal Enfield Meteor Price starts at Rs 1.76 lakhs. The bike comes in 3 trims and here is all that you need to know about the bike and its variants.

Royal Enfield Meteor Price

The lowest trim – fireball is priced at Rs 1.76 lakhs. Above it sits the 1.81 lakh Stellar trim and finally the Supernova trim is placed at Rs 1.91 lakhs. This bike not only replaces the Royal Enfield Thunderbird but also pushes the price segment a bit further.

Now the Royal Enfield Meteor Price makes it rival against the Jawa Perak and its own adventure cruiser Himalayan. The price of this bike puts it in a competitive part of the segment. The bike has the advantage in the form of having the Royal Enfield badge and the fact that the company has tried to eliminate almost all the problems with the 350cc engine.

Royal Enfield Meteor Engine

The Engine is a major improvement over the previous model. The engine now uses a 4 valve SOHC setup. This along with the counter balancer reduces the vibrations that were a big problem on the RE engines. The engine is expected to give a strong mid-range and also heat less due to the oil cooling setup.

This engine makes 20 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque. This will be delivered to the wheels using a 5-speed gearbox. Now you might wonder why there isn’t a 6 speed gearbox. Well there are many things on this bike that could have been better but they are as they are for now. The UC 350 engine which is seen on the RE classic will look dated in front of this new engine. Royal Enfield Tripper

With the Meteor in the 2 upper trims of the bike one has the option to get the RE tripper. This is a secondary dial on the instrument cluster which can be used for purely navigation purposes. This is very useful as it cuts off all the other distractions that come with mounting a phone on the handlebar. This tripper will be added as an add-on for the 650 users as an accessory.
