2016 Toyota Innova rear portion revealed

The rear of the 2016 Toyota Innova has been revealed just before its global debut. The new Innova is expected to debut on 23rd November in Indonesia.

While the front look has been seen earlier via leaked brochures, this is the first time we get a glimpse of its rear end.

The rear end of the 2016 Toyota innovate is very different for the current one and looks sharper.

The glass area seems wider and the loading lip is identical to the present Innova.

Sizewise, the 2016 Toyota Innova measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, 1,795 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The Innova comes with two engine options.

The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre 16-valve DOHC Dual VVT-i that delivers 137bhp at 5,600 rpm and 183 Nm of torque at 4,700 rpm.

The diesel engine is an all-new 2.4-litre GD engine with VNT Intercooler that churns out 147 bhp at 3,400 rpm and 360Nm of torque on the AT variant and 342 Nm of torque on the MT variant. An option of 6-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission is available with both engines. It will be available in three variants – G, V and Q.
