On the onset of the festive season, 2020 Bajaj CT 100 gets an update that gets is 8 new features and improvements. Here is how each of them is worth and finally how much price increase does it cause.

The updated CT 100 gets a DTSi powered engine with BS6 compliance. The new features on the bike are not fancy but they increase the value for money quotient. Also, some of these features are there for the increase in comfort as well as durability as the bike will be pushed through broken rural roads.

Front Suspension Bellows

The front suspension bellows reduce the visible chrome at the front. It also protects the fork oil seals from picking up dust and overall protects the shiny part of the forks from dust. There is no other performance benefit from suspension bellows.

Rubber Tank Pads

There is a rubber tank pad on the 2020 CT 100 right where the knee rubs on the tank. These are to protect the tank from the frequent contact part of the tank. This is a small smart upgrade that will keep the bike looking new for a longer time. This was first seen in the commuter segment on the TVS Radeon and is a feature that we can see on a lot of high-end bikes too. There is no change in how the bike rides but it allows to grip the tank better.

Cross Tube Handlebars

The 2020 Bajaj CT 100 has a slim front tire. This is not so good for high-speed stability and so a cross tube handlebar has been added for some amount of stable feel. It reduces the handlebar flex and adds weight to the handlebars. Also, the 2020 CT 100 does not reach crazy high speeds so the high speeds that we are talking about are around 90 to 100 km/h.

Thicker and Flatter Seat

Commuter bikes are all about the last-mile commute. With the price tag that Bajaj puts on this 2020 CT 100 and the fuel efficiency, it offers it just makes for a perfect logistics vehicle in a budget. The flat seat on the 2020 Bajaj CT 100 will be comfortable for a lot of passengers on the bike. Also, the thicker seats will reduce the jolts from the broken roads which the suspension does not soak up.

Bigger Pillion Grab Handle

A bigger pillion grab handle will make it comfortable for the pillion by ensuring a confidant girp while on the bike. Also, it will maximise comfort where there is some load between the rider and pillion.

Flexible Clear lens indicators

When the world is moving towards LED indicators the 2020 Bajaj CT 100 gets clear-lens indicators. They are flexible too which will reduce the change of breaking when parked in tight parking lots. LED is not on this bike as that will increase the cost and keeping the cost low is the only sole purpose of this bike.
