Basic Expectations from KTM 250 Adventure

Now that the news of the KTM 250 Adventure has been confirmed here is what we are expecting from the bikes. We will go all the way from the price features to the launch timeline in this article. Also, the KTM 250 Adventure features will be compared with the existing KTM 390 adventure which is the most talked-about adventure bike currently.

Price

The KTM 250 Adventure is expected to sit between the KTM duke 250 and Duke 390. It will be cheaper by Rs 64,000 than the Adventure 390. We are expecting KTM to price the 250 adventure at Rs 2.4 lakhs but as we all know that KTM knows its product value we might see a higher proposition than this.

Now, this price is based on expected features from the 250. So lets take a look at them.

KTM 250 Adventure Features

The bike has been spied with a normal halogen bulb headlight. This might be a downside if we are looking at some touring adventures on this bike. It is a cost-cutting measure but one that can be fixed easily in the aftermarket.

The bike would have the TFT display as on the 390 but that display doesn’t affect how the bike rides. It’s just there to make the bike more convenient. If you are thinking that KTM would offer spoked wheels on this bike then you are surely mistaken. KTM 250 adventure is going to get alloy wheels but the quality is expected to be slightly on the tougher side.

The body and chassis will be the same as the 390 adventure. The biggest feature of the bike will be its price. It will offer the feel of the adventure from KTM at a lower price.

Expected cycle parts

KTM 250 Adventure features might be different but the cycle parts will be shared with the Duke 250. The mainframe will be similar to that of the Duke 250. Also, the bike will have a 250cc engine from the duke. There is no news of changing sprocket ratios and gearing but it would be a bonus to see that. We expect the bike to be slightly lighter than the 390 Adventure. The tall seat height might remain the same as the bike might not undergo changes in terms of design.
