The company had already revealed the concept variant of the car earlier. At the front, the Nissan Magnite gets a Datsun-like front grille with sharp angular headlights and sculpted hood.  As Kia Sonet was able to attract much hype due to its bold and aggressive looks, Nissan too wants to follow the same path.  The side profile of the SUV gets features like upright stance, flared wheel arches, heavy cladding and strong shoulder lines. All these elements add the much-needed SUV styling to the car.  The rear gets split LED taillights, roof-mounted spoiler and faux skid plates on the rear bumper. The test car was painted in a dual-tone red and black colour scheme. More about Nissan Magnite Unveil Date below.

Interior Design

Nissan Magnite Concept 1

The brand has not officially shared any interior images of the production variant of the car.  The interiors like the exteriors can be expected to be quite similar to the concept model.  The interiors of the concept model look quite futuristic and come with all the modern features with a large touchscreen taking the center stage.  Rear AC vents, connected Car Tech, Sunroof are also some of the expected features on the car.

Engine and Performance

Nissan is claiming contemporary looks, spacious cabin and a high ground clearance will give Magnite the edge over rivals.

The Nissan Magnite is likely to get two petrol engines on offer. It may come with a 1.0L turbo and Naturally aspirated engine.  The same engine is used with the Renault Triber and seems to underperform for the Triber. The Renault Triber also has similar dimensions to the Nissan Magnite. Nissan will have to bring a better engine or tune it properly to provide adequate performance and efficiency.  5-speed manual and some form of automatic transmission will be available.
