What is the car?

The car shown in the pictures, is a digitally rendered Tata Harrier, showing what the SUV would look like with off-road components.  The Tata Harrier is already an aggressive-looking big car, but the off-road bits add a fresh new styling to the overall package.  The SUV also had the advantage of sharing the underpinnings with Land Rover pedigree.  The Tata Harrier comes with 14 ESP modes, driving modes and many more features but is still an ideal urban SUV.

What are the changes?

Alpha_Renders are the creator of this digital beauty. They have replaced the stock bumper upfront with an off-road bumper.  The front bumper now has fog lamps, Auxiliary lamps, LED bars, with skid plate and tow hooks.  The next noticeable thing is the big off-road chunky tires which make it a true 4×4 dominating machine.  The suspension has also been tuned for greater ground clearance along with aftermarket side fenders.  An off-road special roof had also been fixed with the SUV to hold jerry cans of fuel, luggage and other off-roading necessities.  You also get Hummer-like lights installed on the roof of the car.

The rear of the car is not very clear with the single image rendered by the source.  But it is obvious that some drastic changes have been made to the rear also. For starters, the stock rear bumper like the front has been replaced by an off-road alternative.  A dual-tone colour option has also been selected. The Fiery red colour with black roof will easily stand out during far-away off-road trips.

Engine and Performance

The stock Tata Harrier comes with a  2.0L turbocharged Diesel engine which produces 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque.  Tata also provides a 6-speed MT/AT transmission with the SUV.  Taking the car offroad will definitely require some special tuning to be done to the engine. Whether any changes have been made to the interiors are still not very clear.  The SUV can take inspiration from the Force Gurkha modified interiors to look more like an off-road SUV from the inside.
