Toyota Annamalais has tweeted a picture of an odometer of an Innova which had done more than 10,00,000 km. This is claimed to be the first Innova that has reached 10 lakh km. And you might be thinking that this might be a taxi or a fleet vehicle. No, this Toyota Innova has a private number plate.

Velmurugan is the owner of this vehicle. This Toyota Innova was registered in July 2007. So when the tweet was put out in November 2019 this car was 13 years old. Take a look at the tweet pinned below.

This Toyota Innova comes with the older D-4D engine which was seen on the Fortuner too. This engine is known for its high reliability. The 2.5 litres is expected to last lakhs of km but 10 lakh km are a milestone for this car literally.

10 lakh km might be something that would be possible on a car that runs in a fleet or taxi. But with such rough usage, it will require to go through proper servicing care. This will ensure that all the lubrication and oil will remain in place. Also, the suspension would have been maintained by a soft approach to speed breakers.
