As the adventure segment is progressing India almost all the manufacturers are trying to make a bike that can enter this market. Suzuki has a partner Haojue in China. Some of the images of the new Suzuki ADV bike have been surfaced on the internet. Will this ADV come to India?

V-Strom Deisgn

The Design and ergonomics of an ADV have to be perfect so that the bike can be used for the touring. The bike also has a big long beak like that of the Vstorm. The signature round headlight has been replaced by the dual pod setup.

The shape of the handlebar is seen with a raised bar itself. This ergonomic of bike might be a lot of help during technical offroading trails. Overall the footprint of the bike looks like it has been reduced. the tank of the bike seems to be tall and raised. The seat height of the bike also seems to be low which might help to gain an advantage over the other high seat height of the Adventure bikes.

Haojue DR160S

The Haojue DR160 is the bike on which this Suzuki ADV will be based. If at all this bike comes to India then it might have a 250cc or 150cc engine which is seen on the Suzuki Gixxer. The DR160 makes around 15 bhp of power and 14 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed transmission. This might turn out to be an underpowered offering where there is adventure bike like the Hero Xpulse 200 producing more power and torque.

V-Strom 250

Suzuki-Vstrom 650 XT

Internationally the V-Strom 250 is a twin-cylinder bike. If Suzuki takes the Haojue DR160S chassis and somehow fits the 250 Gixxer engine to it then it might have become a killer offer. The Suzuki Gixxer 250 engine has a perfect balance of power and torque and an adventure bike with it might be the perfect recipe to take over the upcoming KTM 250 ADV.
