The owner for today is Mr Ashutosh Aangne from Thane Maharashtra.  The owner purchased the Honda WR-V in 2018.  Find out below about Honda WR-V Owner’s review.

Why WR-V?

wr-v

The owner was looking for a spacious and comfortable car.  The Honda WR-V fulfilled both the conditions and was within the owner’s budget.  The car has done about 10,400kms in total.  The owner has mostly driven the car inside the city with occasional long-distance trips to native village.

Good bits about the car

The Honda WR-V here is with a 1.5L Diesel engine. This engine is no longer available with the BS6 variant.  The power and acceleration of the car are great. Space and impressive ground-clearance make this car stand out against competition.

The customer is also happy about the impressive boot space of the compact-SUV.  Long-distance trips with the WR-V are not an issue.  The fuel efficiency is segment best with 16kmpl in city and 20kmpl in highway. Please note that these are real-world mileage figure and not ARAI claimed.

Bad bits about the car

front

Customer is not at all happy without the rear headrests.  Armrest is also not present.  The owner also badly misses the rear AC vents on the car.  The owner also would have like charging points, speed sensing locks and automatic transmission.  The customer also feels that the NVH levels can be further lowered and improved in the car. Maintenance and Service

The owner rates this segment of the car as Very Good.  The customer is very happy with the real-life low maintenance cost.  Fuel efficiency is also above expectations.  The second maintenance of the car was around Rs.6000.

The customer has also added quite a few aftermarket parts.  Fog lamps, Side cladding, Leather seats, WR-V badging, and LED headlamps are additional accessories in the car. The original halogen headlamps were a little less bright than expected. The customer also had to install reverse parking sensors on the car himself.

Conclusion

Honda WR-V Owner's Review

If the owner was given the chance again to purchase a car, without the above-mentioned aftermarket features, the owner would not have considered it as an option.  The owner now wishes to buy Hyundai Creta or Kia Seltos which is a segment-above.  He overall is quite satisfied with the car. The owner had also considered S-Cross and Creta before but did not buy one of them due to personal reasons.
