The Mahindra Marazzo BS6 MPV was officially revealed by the company on 27th of August 2020 in India.  The new car comes with only three variants instead of four with the BS4 spec of the car. There are also no design changes present on the new car. It is merely a BS6 update and variant cut-down. Find out below about the new variants with Mahindra Marazzo.

The BS6 Mahindra Marazzo comes with three variants to choose from:  M2, M4+ and M6+.  The top-spec M8 variant has been removed from the 2020 BS6 Mahindra Marazzo. The engines available on the car are also BS6 compliant and are a major change.

The Mahindra Marazzo 2020 BS6 car comes with the same 1.5L Diesel engine in all the three variants.

Standard Safety features

The Mahindra Marazzo has obtained a four-star safety rating with GNCAP testing.  It is impressive for its segment and will be one of the USPs of the car.  The standard safety features include:  Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, child safety lock, engine immobilizer, impact sensing auto door locks and disc brakes on all wheels.  All these features are available across all the three variants.

Marazzo Captain Seats

The Mahindra Marazzo M2 is the base variant of the new car. It comes with either 7/8-seat configuration with a cost price of Rs.11.01 lakh. All the features in the car are the same as the predecessor.

  •         Central locking
  •         Rear AC vents
  •         USB charging point for rear passenger

Being the base variant is misses out on many important types of equipment. You also do not get any form of entertainment system with the car.

Marazzo Bench

This is the middle-of-the-road variant of the MPV. It also comes with a 7-seater option costing Rs.12.37 lakh and an 8-seater option with an Rs.12.45 lakh price tag.  It gets all the features of M2 and M4 sold previously.  You still do not get a touchscreen infotainment system. You get features like:

  •         4 speakers
  •         Audio system with FM/AM, AUX, USB
  •         Bluetooth connectivity
  •         Electronically adjustable ORVMs
  •         Height-adjustable driver’s seat
  •         Rear defogger with auto timer

Marazzo Dashboard

This is the top-spec variant in the new Mahindra Marazzo 2020 BS6.  It is also available in both 7/8-seater configurations. The lower one costs Rs.13.51 lakh while the other costs Rs.13.59 lakh. It carries forward all the equipments from the previous variants and borrows quite a few things from M8.

The M6 Plus variant which is the top variant on the MPV misses out on features like Android Auto and Apple Car Play, something which is pretty basic in the present times.  You also skip on the cooled glove box, premium leather upholstery. That being said, the M6+ is Rs.1.18 lakh less pricier than the M8 top variant of the previous generation model.
