TVS Jupiter ZX Disc launched with Silent Start

When was the scooter launched?

TVS motors announced on Monday the launch of Jupiter ZX variant which now comes with Disc brakes and a new electric start feature known as the ‘i-TOUCH start.’

What is an i-TOUCH start?

The i-TOUCH start technology reduces cracking noise and provides a silent and rapid ignition.  This feature is highly beneficial for metropolitan city riders with high traffic.  The feature according to TVS also improves overall battery life and helps in keeping the scooter maintenance-free.

Engine and Performance

The new TVS Jupiter comes with a BS6 compliant 110cc engine with Ecothrust Fuel Injection. It also features an integrated generator starter which improves the mileage, refinement and durability by up to 15%. You get maximum power of 8bhp@7500rpm and a peak torque of 8Nm@5500rpm.

One more new addition

The TVS Jupiter ZX also comes with an all-in-one lock. This feature helps to operate the ignition, steering lock, fuel tank lock and seat lock with a single key-hole.  A similar feature was seen on the Hero Duet and is immensely convenient.  The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc as the name suggests comes with disc brakes for added safety.

Additional Features 

The TVS Jupiter comes with additional features like LED headlamps, mobile charger, 21-litre storage and a 2-litre Glove-box.  It also gets adjustable shock absorbers which promise to increase the ride comfort of the scooter by a great margin.

Price and Color options

Jupiter ZX is present is colour options like Royal Wine, Matte Starlight Blue and Starlight Blue. The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc has been priced at Rs.69,052 for ex-showroom Delhi.
