Kia Sonet Unofficial Brochure reveal in India!

The sub-compact SUV segment just received a new competition a few weeks ago. Kia had been teasing a new car for quite some time now. This car was first showcased in Auto Expo 2020 and Kia’s third offering in India. Kia Seltos proved to be a competent competition against Hyundai Creta and the same could be said about the Sonet against Venue. More about Kia Sonet Brochure reveal below.

Exterior Features on Brochure

According to Kia, Aggressive design was the main focus for the exteriors of the Kia Sonet.  Kia also promises dynamic and muscular looks for all the different angle and clearly mentions that it is an Urban-SUV.  These SUVs are known for its similar styling, decent performance and small dimensions for parking.

External Highlights in the brochure include Tiger Nose Front Grille, LED headlamps, taillamps and DRLs.  You also get an electric sunroof, 16-inch crystal cut alloy wheels and dual muffler design. All in all these features make the car look highly sporty, aggressive and helps it stand out among the competition.

Engine and Performance

The same page has also information about engine and powertrain options.  You get three engine options to choose from in the Kia Sonet. 

Varied engine and transmission options enable customers to pick their favourite ride according to personal needs. The same tactic was adopted by Hyundai Creta which proved to be quite successful.

Interior Features on Brochure

Kia is calling its all-new dashboard as High-Tech Cockpit.  There is a perfect blend of modernity and basic stuff in the interiors of the car. Kia has provided 5 First-in Segment features on the interiors of the car. Features will be the main attraction for new Kia Customers.

First-in Segment features include Bose Premium Sound System, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system,  Air Purifier with Virus Protection, and 392L boot space. The Kia Sonet also comes with Ventilated seats which are not available in much higher priced cars.

Other interior features include UVO Connect, Driving modes and traction control, Wireless phone charger and fully digital 4.2-inch instrument cluster. Kia has also given safety importance with six airbags, ESC, HAC and VSM

Dimensions and Color

Kia Sonet comes with mono-tone and dual-tone colours. Mono-tone colour options include Intense Red, Beige Gold, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Steel Silver, Intelligency Blue, Glacier White Pearl, and Clear White.

Dual-tone colour options include Intense Red, Beige Gold and Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl colour roof. 

You also get leather seats and alloy wheels options to choose from.  There are also six variants on offer: HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and GTX+.
