Price and booking

Mahindra has announced that the all-new Mahindra Thar 2020 will be available for booking starting October 2nd. This date too holds national significance as our Father of Nation’s birthday. The price will also be officially revealed that day. Mahindra is moving forward strong with Vocal for Local.

New Automatic Transmission

Mahindra Thar is a newborn machine now. The company listened to its faithful fan following and will provide an automatic transmission. Automatic transmission is known for its comfort and ease of usability. A 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission will be provided to be precise

Roof-Mounted Speakers

Music is one of the most important companions during long road trips and offroad adventure. The Mahindra Thar 2020 comes with roof-mounted speakers to give a clear surround sound effect. The practicality and loudness of these speakers can only be tested after we receive the test car. However, this feature will make the car stand out.

New Manual Transmission

It’s not only good news for automatic transmission users. The new generation Mahindra Thar 2020 comes with an all-new 6-speed manual transmission.  The new transmission will be performance-friendly as well as efficient.

Engine and Performance

The all-new Thar 2020 comes with a 2.2-litre Stallion Petrol engine and a 2.0-litre Diesel engine.  The petrol engine produces 150hp and 320Nm of torque. The Diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 130hp and 300Nm of torque.

All-New Suspension

Mahindra Thar 2020 also comes with an independent front suspension.  You also get a multi-link rear suspension at the back of the car.  Mahindra calls it the most suitable suspension for offroad.

Different Variant

Mahindra Thar 2020 comes with two lineups to choose from – Thar AX and Thar LX.

With 2 trims available to choose from the user can have the perfect Thar for their personal use. Also, the engine and other features can also be customized.
