Skoda Rapid 2020 Service Cost
Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI has been launched this year and it seems to be catching everyone’s attention with the entry-level variant pricing. This directly takes on compact sedans making it a great value for money. The question that many of us have unanswered is – if it is worth considering or buying a Skoda Rapid for two primary concerns:
- The model is about 10 years old
- Skoda has a not-so-good reputation for maintenance cost
To make things easier, we thought – why not make a video and story on what the company numbers are as per their official website. The website hasn’t been updated with the 1.0 TSI engine, but when we got the figures,

The total cost of each service is mentioned here. However, there is no mention of any other service parts cost. So, things like the clutch, suspension or even brakes haven’t been mentioned in the regular costs. We did check the cost on the website – but there is no mention of any of them in the regular service aspect. So, this is a miss here.

As a vehicle it is an excellent Luxury sedan. Even though extended maintenance contract is taken by customer, once visit the garage one or other reasons money will be extracted. When the vehicle was covered 35,000 km brake pad was changed on chargeable basis. Customers are not educated properly on the extended service contract.
