BS6 Mahindra Mojo Launched! Price Inside!

BS6 Mahindra Mojo has been launched finally at a price of Rs 1.99 lakhs. After a Rs 4,500 increase over the BS4 model, the Mojo 300 BS6 is now in the market. Know more about its bookings, engine and colour options which are also priced at different levels.

Booking

One can book the bike at Rs 5000 from Mahindra showrooms. There is no option of online booking that has been mentioned. We will keep you updated on that front. You have to stay subscribed to Motoroctane handles for more updates.

Colour and Pricing

The cheapest bike of the lot is the black pearl colour which is priced at Rs 1.99 lakhs. Next to it stands the Garnet black paint scheme which is priced at Rs 2.06 lakhs. At the top of the line you get the Ruby Red and Red Agate which is priced at Rs 2.11 lakhs.

Changes

The engine is BS6 compliant now. We expect a power drop and some change in the exhaust note. Apart from that, it will be difficult to tell about the feel of the engine without experiencing that. The bike has kept the styling same with the big Dual pod Headlamp. The Bike also has a big fuel tank of 21 litres.

Engine specs

The engine is a 295cc single-cylinder engine. It makes 25 bhp and 25 Nm of torque. The power output has gone down compared to the BS4 model. Also, the bike is heavy at 186.2 kg and with the 21-litre fuel tank this is not a light vehicle in any sense.

Rest of the things remain same on this bike with the fat telescopic forks and the rear mono-shock unit. There is dual-channel ABS offered as standard.

Competition

The BS6 Mahindra Mojo has the biggest competition with the Dominar 250. It is a bike which comes very close to the DNA of the Mojo and with attractive pricing the bike will surely take some of the customers away. The engine is a trade-off on the Dominar but it is not far behind.

If you consider Royal Enfield against the Mahindra Mojo then it is a clear winner as the bike offers much more sophistication than Royal Enfield and has better hardware.
