Why is the old model continued?

Retaining the older generation of the Honda City is a feedback response from the past generation changes. Honda says that with every generation change of the Honda City, people have shown disappointment of discontinuation of the older one. So this time they have decided to work on this and keep the older generation of the Honda City along with the new model.
