Origins
The Jeep Compass Night Eagle will be based on the mid-spec Jeep Compass’s Longitude trim level. The company has already officially teased the new car on Instagram and will launch the car soon in the coming weeks.
What is new?
The main highlight of this car will be its all-black looks and theme. Put simply, this Jeep Compass which was accidentally slipped in a basket of gloss black paint. Everything in the car is gloss-black and looks menacing. Of course, the windshield, windows and lights are normal, other than that everything if fully black. Inside the new SUV will get leather seat-upholstery and the black-theme continues inside around the dashboard area too.
What about engine and performance?
You will get the same engine options as the standard Jeep Compass. The international market already received an update in this department but launch in India is expected around 2021. Jeep also recently did a facelift which was not very praiseworthy. It just made the car BS6 compliant.

New features
Jeep Compass Night Eagle will get features like 8.4-inch Touch Screen with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The car will also have connected tech in the form of UConnect. Dual Zone Climate control, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ESP and hill-start, Xenon projector headlamps and dual airbags are some of its expected features. The car may also get keyless entry with push-button start.
Conclusion
FCA may launch the new 2021 Jeep Compass with design and performance changes if needed. A 7-seat version of the Jeep Compass is also rumoured to be launched sometime. Pricing of Jeep Compass Night Eagle will be slightly over the Longitude Plus variant. Longitude Plus costs Rs. 20.33 lakh for the Diesel variant while the petrol variant costs Rs. 19.69 lakh.
