Hyundai has launched the Tucson facelift in India after a long wait. The new car gets minor facelift along with the main highlight being the BS6 update. Hyundai has made minor tweaks here and there. Let us find out below about them.
The new car is simply a facelift so one minor dimension change is visible compared to its predecessor. Cosmetic changes to the new Tucson have given it a slight advantage. The wheelbase of the new car is identical so no evident change is visible

The new Hyundai Tucson comes with new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and dual-tip exhaust units. The front changes include a new cascading front grille, LED headlamps and taillamps. Coming to the rear profile, the new car features the rear reflector much higher and is split housed on the tailgate itself compared to its predecessor.
The main difference compared to the previous-gen- Hyundai Tucson is an all-black interior in place of the dual-tone interiors of the previous model. BlueLink, redesigned AC vents, 8.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system are some of the noticeable changes. Connected car technology provides convenience features like remote engine start/stop, cabin pre-cooling and door lock/unlock. The climate control panel in the 2021 Hyundai Tucson is the same as its predecessor. Another major improvement will be the8-speaker sound system compared to the old 6-speaker one. Safety and other premium features are identical to the older Hyundai Tucson.
The new Hyundai Tucson 2021 comes with the same engine as the previous generation with the addition of BS6 certification.

Hyundai has ditched the base variants of Hyundai Tucson thus ending the manual transmission. Performance figures are quite the same for both cars.

The diesel variants of Tucson are pricier compared to the previous model. Hyundai also still provides the 4WD option only with the Diesel engine.
