Quick Review of Tata Altroz Imaginator India

Tata Altroz Imaginator

Jumping straight to the answer, No. You cannot customize the car fully according to your needs as a Need for Speed game. But the Imaginator does provide some cool customization options.

Starting things off, website optimization is not up to the point. I tried several times to open the Imaginator menu and it took an unbearable amount of a long time. The page is not optimized still and if you are using a mobile phone, you may have a hard time figuring things out.

Ok, after you have successfully opened the Imaginator customization menu, Tata asks you to choose a variant. 4 customization packs are available to choose from. Alas, every variant does not support all the packs. The four style packs are – Style, Rhythm, Luxe and Urban pack. Choose your variant and click on Customize. You will be transferred to the Imaginator customization dashboard.

STYLE PACK

The Style pack contains R16 stylized wheel cap, Contrast Black Roof, Body-colour ORVM Skull cap, Chrome air-vents,  Front fog lamp with DRLs and Rear Fog lamp.  The STYLE PACK upgrade costs around Rs. 34,000 and is available on XM(Petrol/Diesel).

RHYTHM PACK

The Rhythm pack comes with an (8.89cm/ 17.78cm) infotainment system. 4 speakers with 2 optional tweeters are provided. The remote key, Dual-tone horn, and Camera+Display are included.  The higher-spec costs Rs. 39000 more while the lower-spec costs Rs.25,000. The lower-spec Rhythm pack is available for XE, XM petrol while the higher-spec is available for XE and XM diesel option.

LUXE PACK

The Luxe pack includes R15 stylized steel wheel, Contrast Black Roof, Body-color OVRM skull cap, Satin Chrome IDH Lever, Leather-wrapped gear knob and steering wheel, Rear seat Armrest, Rear Fog lamp and 4 way Driver Seat. This upgrade costs around Rs. 39,000. It is only available with XT(petrol/diesel).

URBAN PACK

The Urban pack has Contrast Black Roof, Body-colour OVRM skull cap, Body-colour console G.S. Bezel and Body Color air-vent Bezel.  This upgrade pack is only available with XZ(petrol/diesel) and costs around Rs. 30,000.

Both XZ(O)(petrol/diesel) do not have any packs to choose from. All the above costs will be paid additional to the ex-showroom price of the variant of your car. Tata Altros as a car does make for a great premium diesel offering. Read more

Conclusion about Tata Altroz Imaginator India

Tata Altroz GNCAP

The website needs thorough optimization. However, customization sounds and looks cool. Although you cannot mix and match upgrade packs you can insert two upgrade packs namely Rhythm and Style on the XM(petrol/diesel) variant of the car. The upgrade will cost a total price of Rs.73,000. The idea is praise-worthy and is a correct step towards the proper direction. Moreover, more choices will enable customers of all budgets to take advantage of this offering.
