The company has also included 32 features as a part of next-gen- Honda Connect.  Honda City 2020 also becomes the first connected car in India with Alexa remote capability. Amazon’s Alexa device is quite popular and serving a variety of homes. As a result if you have an Alexa at home, you can control all the 32 features sitting on the sofa, from the comfort of home. Telematics control unit has also been included in the next-generation car. Honda has included engine start/stop, AC control, infotainment system control, climate control and a host of other 30+ features. A recent teaser video by Honda shows the capability of Amazon Alexa on Honda City 2020.

The car has been majorly redesigned after the update. The front looks more bold and muscular. Rear profile has been tweaked too. Interiors look and feel more premium than before. Honda has included first-in-segment features like full LED headlamps, Z-shaped wrap around 3D taillamps. Honda also provides a 17.7cm Full HD Color TFT meter in the instrument console in the 2020 Honda City. You also get features like vehicle stability assist, Tyre Pressure monitoring system, and Hill-start assist. Honda has provided 6-airbags, one-touch electric sunroof and Lane-watch camera to help the car stand out from the competition.

No definite price details are available at this point. We can expect prices to be between Rs.10 lakh to Rs.16 lakh to compete against its arch-rival, Hyundai Verna. Honda may only be successful in the segment if it prices its car competitively.
