Honda, the Japanese brand serving in India has released a new teaser video of its Honda Livo BS6. The video shows a lot of new features and improvements over its predecessor. Find more details about Honda Livo BS6 teaser below.
Coming straight to the engine, the new Honda Livo will probably borrow the BS6 engine from the recently launched BS6 Honda CD 110. It is a 109.51cc engine which produces 9.10 Ps of maximum power and a peak torque figure of 9.30Nm. The new BS6 Honda Livo may come with slight performance improvements. Telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers and drum brakes will likely be retained from the BS4 model to keep the production costs low.
Redesigned body-panels will add a much needed sporty touch to the new bike. The turn signal indicators, headlamps and taillamps will all be halogen type. The new commuter bike will also feature an engine kill switch and updated instrument cluster. Minor tweaks have been made all over to add a fresh touch to the bike. The instrument cluster may get a dark theme.
Launch and Price
The new BS6 Honda Livo may launch by the festive season of 2020. After its launch, Honda will have 5 motorcycles in its portfolio named Honda Unicorn, Honda CB Shine, Honda SP 125, Honda CD 110 Dream and Bs6 Honda Livo. Honda has discontinued the BS4 Honda Livo in India and its last known average ex-showroom price was around Rs.57,000. Expect the BS6 version to cost Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 more. The effective price of Honda Livo BS6 may linger around Rs.67,000 to Rs.70,000. The commuter bike is preferable for young riders looking for an economic bike with sporty styling. The low-cost maintenance of Honda bikes may bring new customers too.
