Maserati Levante SUV spotted
The new Maserati Levante SUV has just been spied on the Nurburgring with almost all its’ heavy camouflage removed! The same SUV was even spot don the road as well, with heavy camouflaged.
Maserati’s new entry into the luxury SUV market will be riding on a modified version of the chassis that underpins the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedan. The Levante will also borrow the engines from the two Maser sedans, utilizing the turbocharged, 3.0-litre V6, and the 3.8-litre V8 engines. A higher performance GTS model, and a diesel for overseas markets, could follow after the initial launch.
The official debut for the Levante should come at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, with production starting in Turin, Italy several months later.
This will be coming to India in 2017 and it will another SUV that will be added to the Maserati portfolio.
The Maser brand is expanding as it is opening its new dealerships across the country. The first two ones are in Mumbai and Delhi.
Other than this, even Ferrari has been opening its new outlets in these two metro cities, and will soon be opening in other cities as well.
