Maruti Suzuki has launched the BS6 Spresso CNG on Monday. This is the BS6 version of the S-CNG variant of the Spresso which had been showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Know more about the price and other details about this vehicle.
BS6 Spresso CNG Variants
The BS6 Spresso CNG is available in 2 variants. The LXi variant is the base one which is priced at Rs 4.84 lakhs. The higher variant is the VXi with a price tag of Rs 5.13 lakhs. Both these prices are ex-showroom Delhi. Both these variant of the Spresso CNG have very minor difference in terms of feature is the same as seen on the regular variants of the Spresso.
Mission Green Million
The company has recently launched the Maruti Celerio S-CNG under the Mission Green Million. The Mission Green Million is under which Maruti plans to launches the S-CNG cars which help to strengthen their effort towards sustainable green mobility. The BS6 Spresso CNG comes with a Factory fitter S-CNG kit. The benefits of the S-CNG kit are explained further. The mileage of the car is claimed to be 31. 2 km/kg. The car has the capacity to carry 55 litres.
Benefits of S-CNG
The S-CNG is considered as a bare minimum compromise on performance while converting to CNG. The ECU is tuned in such a way that the car delivers maximum efficiency while not losing the fun to drive. There are 2 sets of ECU which work in interdependently and control the usage of CNG to provide the optimum amount with the engine.
