The festive season is starting to get underway and auto manufacturers are doing their best to increase footfalls into their showrooms.
Trying every trick in the book to drive sales, they are introducing special pricing on regular products, offering freebies and giveaways. From bundled insurance to complimentary service plans, it sure is a buyer’s market out there.
Mahindra Two Wheelers have decided that they’ll take a firm favourite in the promotions book and have announced the launch of the limited edition of their scooter – the Gusto. Given that this recently launched scooter has been garnering a fair share of interest in the market, Mahindra thought that they’d amp up the demand with some signature cosmetic embellishments.
A dual tone paint scheme is what they thought would work best and the Gusto Limited Edition can be had in Silver Magenta or Ice Cool Red shades. Additionally, the company is also offering an annual insurance cover on the scooter for free to ring in some festive spirit.
The Gusto range starts at INR 51000 (on-road, Mumbai) for the DX variant, with the HX model coming in for INR 54,500 (on-road, Mumbai). Mahindra is offering the Gusto Limited Edition in range topping VX guise for a price of INR 56,700 (on-road, Mumbai).
There are no mechanical changes and the 8bhp, 9 Nm torque generating 109.6cc air-cooled single cylinder, CVT driven motor continues to do duty on the Gusto as before.
